No More Fear…

As a former 20+ year career banker, whistle blower, fraud investigator, small business owner and realtor I thought I had previously been exposed to the bad, ugly and unethical in business.  Unfortunately, it seems, (in hindsight) that my prior experiences were only warm up games for the world series in business, real estate and banking!  Batter up? 

All joking aside, I have to say that I am absolutely amazed at the extraordinary level of fear and greed based selfishness that abounds within our present marketplace.  It feels like we are living out the “wild, wild west” in this season.  And I wonder…when will this dark cloud of fear based activities in business subside?  Who is guarding our history, fighting for truth, exposing lies, protecting their core team members and creating new opportunities for employment creation?  Who is truly stepping up?

Then all of a sudden out of “no where” you see them; incredible men and women of integrity fighting the good fight!  Waging war on evil-doers, exposing the lies, uncovering the truth and demanding justice…how refreshing and amazing!  And they don’t do it for glory, for fame, for money.  They don’t do it because it is easy or popular or accepted.  No, these warriors do it because of what they believe, who they are and for something or someone bigger than them.  They stand to be counted and they make a positive difference for all of us.

I don’t think there is anything more exciting than the promise of good men and women forging a righteous and straight pathway wherein they are a force to be reckoned with!
